Human Rights /Honor Crimes Campagin
Honor crimes is something that is very familiar in the middle east, but because of the campaigns done against it, and helping open people's mind that its wrong, it helped in decreasing in the number of Honor Crimes.
- The Brochure: the front page brochure shows you a man in the background with his hand to his forehead thinking or regretting what he has done. This implies that it just may affect people who look at the brochure. The Brochure says
"Its time for us to REACT, Murdering is not a solution, It does not take us forward, It only leaves Us BEHIND"
Which is true instead of dealing with the problem in the correct manner and moving on, instead we do the wrong thing and regret it for the rest of our life. There are pictures of different type of women. with a tearing eye because of the crimes that are being committed in the name of honor. - The back page Brochure: Also shows different kind of women with the rectangle symbolizing being trapped because of the decision being made by the male relative. The brochure says:
“Do you know that everyday, an average of TWENTY or THIRTY Of Innocent, Young and Old Women, Are Murdered Every Month In The Middle East, In The Name Of Honor for Crimes They Did Not Commit ,And They Punish Them By Ending Their Lives In Such A Selfish And Criminal Way. Does This Right Make These Men Become JUDGES, HERO’S Or MURDERER”S?
The Campaign went in 2 Directions but the one above was selected the best.There was another design for the brochure’s back. Brochure Back and Front
